Meatless Day Celebration at Sadhu Vaswani School, Ahmedabad
On 25th November 2025, Sadhu Vaswani School, Ahmedabad joyously observed Meatless Day in reverence to the birth anniversary of Revered Dada T.L. Vaswani, the great apostle of non-violence and compassion towards all living beings. The solemn celebration was held at the school’s Sanctuary Hall, drawing students, teachers, and staff together in a spirit of love, peace, and non-violence.
The programme commenced at 10:30 AM with a sacred havan, invoking divine blessings and setting a serene spiritual tone for the day. This was followed by soulful bhajans that filled the hall with devotion and harmony.
Selected passages from the sacred Anjali Granth & Noori Granth were recited, reminding everyone of Dada T.L. Vaswani’s clarion call to embrace compassion and abstain from causing harm to any creature.
A dance performance by the students of primary section of Sadhu Vaswani School, added to the grandeur and fervour of the spirit of Sadhu T L Vaswani’s birthday celebration – depicting love, compassion and empathy for all living beings.
A special video updesh by Dada J.P. Vaswani was screened, wherein his timeless message of kindness, reverence for all life, and the importance of a meat-free lifestyle deeply touched every heart.
The celebration culminated with the melodious rendering of Dadaji’s Aarti, followed by the ceremonial cake cutting – a sweet symbol of joy shared without harming any life. The programme concluded with the distribution of prasadi to all present, leaving everyone inspired and spiritually uplifted.
Through this heartfelt observance of Meatless Day, Sadhu Vaswani School reaffirmed its commitment to the ideals of Revered Dada T.L. Vaswani -promoting a cruelty-free, compassionate way of living that honours every form of life.
