On Saturday, 22nd November 2025, Sadhu Vaswani School, Ahmedabad Centre organized a  Peace March to mark the 146th birth anniversary of Revered Dada Sadhu T. L. Vaswani and to campaign for observing Meatless Day and Animal Rights Day.

The programme began at 9:30 a.m. with the soulful rendering of the prayer “Jai Dada Jai Ho…”, setting a serene and spiritual tone for the event.

Dr. A. N. Kukreja – Chairman – delivered the welcome address and enlightened the gathering about the profound significance of Meatless Day and Revered Dada Vaswani’s lifelong message of compassion towards all living beings. CA Sh. S. K. Sadhwani – Secretary – address the audience by speaking about the mission’s work across the globe and urged one and all to support the Meatless Day campaign earnestly.

The Chief Guest, Shri Rohit Assudani, was warmly felicitated and addressed the students and attendees. He strongly emphasized the importance of adopting a meatless lifestyle as an act of kindness and reverence for life.

A solemn pledge to observe Meatless Day and respect animal rights was then administered to all students.

At around 10:00 a.m., the Peace March Rally was flagged off by the Chief Guest amidst great enthusiasm. Hundreds of students, teachers, and supporters marched through the streets of Sardarnagar, holding colourful placards with powerful slogans promoting non-violence, compassion, and a meatless way of life. Devotional bhajans filled the air while students raised spirited slogans echoing Revered Dada’s vision of “Be Kind to All Creatures.”

After covering the designated route, the rally peacefully concluded back at the school premises around 11:30 a.m. Students were served prasadi before dispersal, leaving everyone inspired and committed to the cause of non-violence.

The event was a resounding success, spreading Revered Dada J. P. Vaswani’s timeless message of love, peace, and reverence for all life forms across the community.
