1. Introduction

15th August 2026 –  This occasion marks the 80th anniversary of India’s independence and provides an opportunity for the school community to honour the nation’s freedom fighters, instil patriotic values, and celebrate the spirit of unity and diversity among students, staff, management, and invited guests.

The celebration has been meticulously planned to ensure meaningful participation across all sections of the school—from Pre-Primary to Higher Secondary—while maintaining the solemnity and dignity befitting the national occasion.

3. Programme Highlights

3.1 Ceremonial Opening

The programme commenced with the arrival of School Management Member, Dr. Anil Khatri –  who was formally welcomed by the CEO and the Vice Principal. Chief guest of the programme was Sh. Lilaram T. Jhangiani (Patron, Sindhi Pensioners’ Welfare Association, Ahmedabad) and Guest of Honour was Mrs. Meena D. Sirwani (Ex-principal, Sadhu Vaswani School). This was followed by the traditional lighting of the candle accompanied by the prayer “Jai Dada Jai Ho…”, performed jointly by management members and guests, setting a solemn and spiritual tone for the occasion.

3.2 Flag Hoisting and National Song

The central ceremony of the day—the Flag Hoisting—was conducted by the Management Members and Guests, followed by the Flag Song and the National Song. This moment of national pride was observed with due respect by the entire gathering.

3.3 Student Participation

Students from every section of the school actively contributed to the celebration:

  • Pre-Primary Section: Dance performance
  • Primary Section: Speech and Dance
  • Secondary & Higher Secondary: Skit based on Jalianwala bagh massacre

3.4 Guest Address and Closing

The Chief Guest and Guest of Honour delivered a special address, after which the Principal  presented the Vote of Thanks. The programme concluded with the National Anthem, followed by orderly dispersal of all attendees.
