Guru Purnima is a revered and auspicious occasion dedicated to honouring and expressing gratitude to Teachers or Guru.
It was celebrated at our school on 29-7-2026 .It was a heartfelt tribute to all the teachers who have dedicated themselves to nurturing and educating their students. The event was meticulously planned to reflect the gratitude and admiration, students hold for their teachers. It included a variety of programs showcasing the talents of the students.
The program began with lighting the candle, followed by devotional prayer “Jai Dada Jai Ho … “creating a reverent atmosphere and paying homage to our Gurus Sadhu T L Vaswani and Dada J P Vaswani.
After the prayer, volunteers from Yog Sansthan Kendra organised a session for the students highlighting the significance of this day. Stories from Hindu Mythology were rendered. Role of the Gurus like Rishi Ved Vyas, Dhronacharya, Muni Vashishth and many others were was highlighted which helped in shaping their disciples and turning them into a well disciplined role model for the society.
After that there was Tilak ceremony: The tilak Ceremony was a solemn moment where teachers were honoured with traditional tilak, followed by aarti and giving handmade cards and sweets to the Teachers. Rose petals were showered by students. This gesture of the students symbolized their esteem gratitude towards their teachers.
The celebration ended with a speech by the Principal thanking one and all for making the celebration a grand success.
The Guru Purnima Celebration was a memorable tribute filled with respect, cultural richness and heart-felt appreciation for the teachers.
