International Yoga Day was celebrated by Sadhu Vaswani School on 20-06-2026. The event aimed to promote the importance of yoga in daily life for physical, mental, and emotional well-being.

Around 120 students from grades I to XII actively participated in the yoga activities, demonstrating great enthusiasm and dedication.

The session commenced at 7:45 AM and continued until 9:00 AM, providing ample time for meaningful engagement with yoga practices.

  • Brahmakumari’s centre head of Sardarnagar, Bharti Didi, delivered an inaugural speech emphasizing this year’s theme, which highlights yoga’s role in promoting longevity, flexibility, and overall physical and mental well-being as individuals age.
  • Instructor Sweety Didi from Brahmakumari’s guided participants through meditation techniques to enhance concentration power, followed by various yogasanas beneficial for holistic health.

Students and staff members participated enthusiastically and thoroughly enjoyed the session. Many expressed their commitment to incorporating yoga into their daily routine as a lifelong practice for sustained health and wellness.

After the wonderful yoga session,  Poster Making Competition and  Creative Writing Competition were organised for students from Grades I to VIII.

The themes for the competitions were “Fit Body Fit Mind” and “Hum Fit toh India Fit”. Students enthusiastically participated in both the events. The day was full of activities and fun…. Students enjoyed the concept of “No Bag Day”….  The entire campus lit up with laughter and enjoyment, fun and frolic…
