Sadhu Vaswani School, Sardarnagar, Ahmedabad successfully organized its first-ever Alumni Meet on Sunday, 14 June 2026 at the Sanctuary Hall, School Campus.
Around 120 alumni from the batches of 1998 to 2015 enthusiastically participated in the event, making it a memorable homecoming. The gathering provided a heartfelt platform for reconnection, reflection, and renewed commitment towards the institution.
The programme began at 10:00 AM with registration and refreshments, followed by a serene prayer session dedicated to Dadaji. CA Shri S.K. Sadhwani, Secretary, delivered a warm welcome address, setting a heartfelt tone for the day.
Alumni then introduced themselves, sharing their diverse professional journeys – from corporate leaders and businessmen to educators and entrepreneurs. Mrs. Dimple Shukla, Principal, addressed the gathering on “Honouring our Legacy and Inspiring our Future”. The VP and the host Rakesh Kanwar highlighted the outstanding achievement of 11 current students who received ₹1,00,000 merit scholarships each, in the CGMS state-level examinations.
Highlight of the event was the felicitation of Ms. Anisha Keshwani, an ex-student who secured All India Rank 1 in the CS (Executive) Examination, December 2025.
Dr. Ajit Naniksingh Kukreja, Chairman, presented on “Building on our Heritage with a Shared Vision for Growth”, while Dr. Anil Khatri, Joint Secretary, spoke on strengthening alumni bonds and supporting student admissions for the school as well as for the Gurukul. He also requested the alumni members to come forward and volunteer for Gurukul activities.
The Open Forum saw alumni sharing fond memories — including the lasting impact of the school’s “Meatless Day”, “Moment of Calm” — and expressing willingness to contribute to the school’s progress.
The event concluded with a Vote of Thanks by Mrs. Santosh Vyas, CEO, followed by a delicious lunch.
Feedback from the alumni was overwhelmingly positive, with many expressing their desire to make this an annual tradition. Several alumni expressed their willingness to contribute to the school in various capacities and emphasized the need for building stronger, ongoing bonds between the institution and its alumni network.
