Sadhu Vaswani School, Ahmedabad, commemorated the 77th Republic Day of India with great enthusiasm and pride on January 26, 2026. The celebration, held on the school campus, beautifully reflected the spirit of patriotism, unity, and constitutional values that define our nation.
The programme commenced at 8:30 am and concluded by 9:30 am, creating a memorable and meaningful morning for students, teachers, and staff.
The event began with the gracious arrival of management members and the esteemed chief guest, Mr. Subhash Sharma. The programme opened with the traditional lighting of the candle accompanied by the prayer “Jai Dada Jai Ho…”, setting a serene and devotional tone.
This was followed by the solemn flag ceremony, where the tricolour was unfurled with respect and dignity, accompanied by the soulful rendition of the flag song. The gathering then sang Vande Mataram in unison, evoking deep feelings of love for the motherland.
CA Sh. S K Sadhwani, Secretary of the school, delivered a warm and inspiring welcome speech, highlighting the significance of Republic Day and the school’s commitment to nurturing responsible citizens.
Students from different sections showcased their talents and conveyed patriotic messages through eloquent speeches and vibrant performances:
– An impressive speech in English was presented by a Higher Secondary student.
– Tiny tots from the pre-primary section enchanted everyone with a delightful patriotic dance.
– A speech in Hindi was confidently delivered by a Primary student.
– Primary students followed with another energetic patriotic dance, filling the air with joy and national pride.
The highlight of the programme was the motivational speech by the chief guest, Mr. Subhash Sharma, who inspired the young minds with valuable insights on duty, discipline, and the importance of upholding constitutional values in everyday life.
The programme concluded with a heartfelt vote of thanks proposed by the I/c Principal, expressing gratitude to the chief guest, management, teachers, students, and all present. Everyone then stood in solemn respect for the National Anthem, bringing the celebration to an emotional close.
As a sweet ending to the event, sweets and snacks were distributed to all students and teachers, spreading smiles and a sense of togetherness.
