Rakhi-Tying Ceremony
The highlight of the day was the rakhi-tying ceremony, where girls from the primary section tied colourful, handmade rakhis on the wrists of their male classmates. These rakhis, crafted with love during a school-organized workshop, symbolized the promise of protection and friendship. The boys, in a sweet gesture, gifted chocolates to the girls, spreading joy and laughter across the school.
Fostering Values Through Creativity
In the lead-up to the celebration, students participated in a rakhi-making competition using eco-friendly materials like coloured threads and recycled paper. This activity not only sparked creativity but also emphasized sustainable practices
