On June 29, 2025, the Sadhu Vaswani School football team showcased their talent and determination at the Royal Lions Cup held at The Grid Turf, Ahmedabad. Competing in the under-17 category, the team delivered an outstanding performance, securing the runners-up trophy after a thrilling final match. Despite a valiant effort, they fell just short, losing to the home team in a tense penalty shootout.
The tournament highlighted the exceptional skills of the Sadhu Vaswani squad. Manya Lulla was honoured with the Best Defender of the Tournament award for her resolute defensive play, while Gautam Gohil clinched the Top Scorer of the Tournament trophy, dominating the under-17 category with their goal-scoring prowess.
The team’s lineup included standout players such as Himanshi Tekwani, who guarded the goal as the goalkeeper, Rachna Kashyap, a stalwart in defence alongside Manya, Ayushi Rajawat, who led the attack as a striker, and Janvi Gopani, controlling the game from the center position.
