A very famous and an apt saying for Sadhu Vaswanians as they showcased their skills in sports during the 40th Annual Sports Meet held on Saturday – the 14th of December, 2024 at the school campus.
The programme commenced with recitation of prayer and aarti. School anthem was played and the sports flag was hoisted by the Chief Guest – CA Ms. Shweta Purswani.
Prior to commencement of the sports events and heats, the VP introduced the Chief Guest and the Guest of Honour – Dr. Mrs. Jyoti Kukreja to the audiences and the students.
The Chief Guest declared the sports meet open and students of the Primary section played the final round of games like sack race, frog race, lemon and spoon race, getting ready for school and various other one-minute games.
For the other students, the final round of competitions likes tug of war, rolling the ball in a lane, etc. were played.
Students of all the four houses – Kalam, Vivekanand, Chanakya and Ashoka played with a fair competitive and sportsman spirit and excelled in their respective sport.
Finally, certificates were distributed to the winning participants. Students enjoyed the sporting event and learnt the importance of team work, bonding and sportsmanship.
The event ended with the Chief Guest’s speech and eventually declaring the sports meet closed.
Upon calculating the overall points scored by all the participants, Vivekanand House was declared the winner.
